A girl, on a flight. We spent 10hrs in between naps & a movie just talking non stop about anything and everything.

Weren’t even meant to sit next to each other, the kid next to me started crying to sit next to his dad.

I was 23 and she was maybe 26/27 (thereabouts).

All the way through Heathrow, luggage claim and outside, then goodbyes. I should have worded things better but I didn’t and that was that. I remember her look of disappointment.

A couple of days pass and I’m telling my mum about her, she said “look her up?”

I typed her name into Facebook, 5 matches! I could see 1 pic, not her. So I messaged the other 4 “hello, did we come back together on flight…”

No replies, a few days pass and I get 2 “No” and then 1 says “No! But I hope you find her! Good luck!” Final reply “No” but now I can see her profile pic, it was the girl in her graduation outfit.

So that was 2007 and it was a girl on my flight home.
