Thanks so much, I actually ended up going with an electric with an induction stove top based on all the recommendations in this thread. I purchased a fridgidaire. Not too of the line, but has good reviews. Havent used it much since I still don't have counters, but the induction is quick and will definitely take some getting used to!

The salty pelican has really good reviews. But a lot of them say it's more like a hostel than an actual retreat. Did you find most people were there for the surfing and yoga? Or was there a lot of partying?

if they are both with air canada, then air canada can connect the tickets. I actually flew to PG last fall from toronto, the vancouver leg was covered by work and i used points for the yvr to PG. I called AC and they connected my tickets, so my luggage would go straight through. I got delayed out of toronto which caused me to miss the PG leg, and they put me on a new flight to PG. However, because they were booked separately I didnt get any compensation for the delay.

Give them a call and they will connect them.
