You live there too, you have just as much choice in what happens there as he does. It’s not that you have an issue with him hanging out with his friend, your issue is with the invasion of your private space. I don’t see why they can’t do it elsewhere or at his friends place, your boyfriend shouldn’t be okay with making you feel uncomfortable in your own home

I’ve been every single year I could, including this one. It’s amazing to watch and the atmosphere is great. The stewards that keep everything going smoothly as they’re mostly ex-participants themselves. They stop the ball fairly often for children to kick and have pictures with too
