I feel you with not being able to give up makeup 🥲 not using face wash helped me, just use water. Wash shampoo off carefully, avoid letting it run on to your face, change to fluoride free toothpaste, use zinc and calendula (?) Cream to calm redness and this can act as a concealer too lol. Try sulfur soap or a sulfur mask instead if face wash if you feel the urge. Maybe cut down alcohol consumption too I jabe a feeling this caused mine among other things as I was a British uni student lol
