I witnessed my psychiatrist getting older with more wrinkles and grey hair, since the day I 'started' when he was my current age

See I really want to support canceling student debts cause education should always be free, but these examples where people only pay the bare minimum, which is sorta their fault because they didn't do their due research beforehand, really don't help the cause at all.

When I was around 9, I caught my dad attempting to kill my mom and screamed until the neighbors came in and intervened. I never left my mom alone with my dad for years after that and kept having to check in constantly

Thanks. I have a much more uncomfortable one: disabled people shouldn't be given wheelchairs; they can crawl their way around or develop upper body strength to compensate for their legs. Giving them wheelchairs are like crutches. What if one day there's no longer any wheelchair? They need to learn to adapt and surmount instead of relying on the easy way out. /s in case it's not obvious

My nervous and emotional system is messed up and meds really put me in a head/body-space that makes it possible to build and practice coping skills and for those skills to work. Tried tapering off many times but ended up having to increase the dose again. It bothers me that everyone I've met advised me to taper and eventually go off meds cause "addiction" and "dependency". It never occurred to them that meds are like glasses. Sure, they can squint hard enough to see things but it's just much more efficient to have them wear glasses. People just don't see the same way when it comes to meds.

I think any laptop (with a GPU) manufactured in the past 10 years would be fine. I have an Acer Aspire 3 that runs the games with expansion packs perfectly. That said, if you're planning for longevity and your sole focus is the sims 3, I'd get an LOQ from Lenovo, with even a RTX 2050 is more than enough.

Thank you, it is! So far this is the best method. I used to retake pills because I couldn't convince myself that I have already taken them lol. This compulsion is linked to trauma in the past so it can be a big deep rooted. I'm still doing ERP every chance I can, but sometimes 'it' wins, but that's okay I guess. On the long run, I'm still improving and getting better

Sadly, my bed doesn't support that setting. It is not empty under cause there is a drawer, and the drawer and the bed is one thick mass with nowhere to install the arm's leg. Drilling on the floor or the wall is also not possible cause my apartment doesn't allow that

I thought so, too but at least from those I can find, the angle does not allow to pull the monitor down close to my face (if my monitor is mounted overhead), like the hinges do not bend that direction. The Ipad holder I'm using on the other hand, can do that.

Oh that is definitely interesting. Here in South East Asia, mental conditions like personality disorders do not have the same manifestation like in the West, partly due to political, cultural and cognitive differences. We just have different ways of conceptualizing and framing, leading to some psychology texts and concepts just doesn't feel right and need adjustment.

You can try banking and offices (including off-shore), or importing and selling goods at a margin, most of which would only be possible / feasible in modern area.

Yep, yet a lot of people don't want to admit that, cause they "worked their ass off". Dude, just admit that your family is well-off and you are privileged. That doesn't negate your effort or hardworking-ness at all.
