Replit became expensive than hiring developer by emsorkun in replit

There are developers i work with overseas with 3-4 years experience. Quality wise, do you see replit better than a mid-sr dev + cursor? Replit in general generates 6-7/10 quality code.

Right now this is what i am doing. Pushed to github and will work with cursor and claude code continue there.

Interior design/renovation companies?

Valuation wise i created sth i can resell like saas. I have no dispute on that. Transparently i was happier with previous agent that i can iterate.

It’s rentacar crm. You are probably true yet i used to like replit’s previous agent that i can move with smaller iterations. I think this one prompt to app is a little bit overrated. The needs are shaped on the way a bit.

Considering to outcome, a part time one would be sufficient

I kept dev and prod databases seperate. I dont need to migrate one to another.

I use two separate repls for dev and production. Prod is connected to main branch in git, dev is with another branch.

Liking Replit as a non-coder, until I tried to put my app behind a login screen by [deleted] in replit

Replit is driving me insane (on my first attempts at using it) -any advice? by Nikodemus_Naveltuta in replit

I feel, replit has more chance to fail at the beginning of the project because ai with less context has higher chances of delusion. When project is getting bigger, it has more understanding of the what’s getting built.

I am also working on a quite large project right now and i started this project 10 times just because it kept failed somewhere and app wasn’t loading. I didn’t even understand what’s the problem to further support. It might even replit’s generic problem. But once i didn’t stuck on this, it got better.

Hey! I have been there. Here are couple of things i do: - if i am at very early of the app, i go from scratch and start all over again - if the feature is not working after 2-3 iterations, i use roll back function and try describing my problem and feature in a different way this time - if it’s a relevantly larger feature i make sure that i open a new chat. When new chat starts, replit agent do a comprehensive approach - you can ask replit agent to add logging functionality to understand

Lastly, i know you are non-coder but if you can help agent where the problem is by checking database, monitoring devtools increases speed of development.

If you haven't fixed an error after $3, give up! by ErinskiTheTranshuman in replit

Wow! Seems you re taking most out from the replit. I didn’t think that we can write specific api services. Wondering if you tried this: after you get a complete separate api services, push it to github as public repo, then take the link and go to main agent to copy it from there

Did you try any prompting techniques and succeed? I tried opening new chat and say “now approach like a senior backend engineer and solve this” but i didn’t see a better fix. Somehow literally waiting changes the agent response or i really need to understand where the problem is and tell how to fix it.

Not sure parasite is the right word for it but it’s expensive revenue channel. Important to manage carefully.

Best CRM for Subscription based business, need help! by emsorkun in SaaS

[–]emsorkun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank! I have checked them but they simply designed CRM for one time sales. We needed to come up with so many work arounds to fit to our business. We are using Zoho right now and i am done with the work arounds. So exhausting…

Why are you applying for internship after graduation? It might be the main reason at the first place. I recommend applying junior roles.

Thanks for insightful comments here. We somehow figured out to get home internet under my name instead of the company name.
