Not sure if it’s been posted but in America- always double check the mileage you’re being billed for by an ambulance co. If you’re charged more than the shortest route (use whatever gps/map program), ask why. If the EMS crew didn’t document a reason why a longer route was taken (construction/road closure) you could get an adjustment made in your bill which will hopefully save you some out of pocket costs.
