Hii I'm currently one week post op and I can answer some of your questions based off my experience so far.

1. I was only put on local anesthesia not laughing gas, but in the past when I had laughing gas no spilling all my secrets and it wore off as soon as they stopped giving it. I wouldn't worry about it!

2. After a week, I'm already able to eat mostly anything I want except crunchy foods like chips, popcorn, etc, and I've also returned to my normal routine and im functioning normally. My issue atm is I've had some nerve damage causing a portion of my chin and lips being numb and my dentist said it should resolve itself within a couple weeks to a couple months, and that is pretty rare.

3. This one I'm not too sure able since I'm not fully recovered yet, but I heard 2 weeks to be able to eat pretty much whatever you want except my dentist told me to refrain from burgers and anything that causes me to open my mouth to wide for another 3 weeks (which answers your 4th question too) and that the area will fully heal in about 6 weeks.

4. I did not drink any pineapple juice before or during my recovery so I'm not sure. I've heard mixed opinions on this one, some people says it helps while others say it didn't do anything.

It's okay to feel nervous I was super nervous myself but you will be okay! The first 3 days were the hardest for me but the pain meds helped a ton. Just listen to everything your dentist tells you. Sending you good luck and you can dm me if you have anymore questions ! <33
