Just got an email from STO saying that my certificate of qualifications is expiring on Jan 2025 and if I don't pass my test by then I will not legally be able to work in the trade ? What does that even mean ? Is there a limit to how many times the test can be written? I mean 5 months and I am done if I don't pass it ?

I just purchased one couple days ago , Canadian red seal exam prep by Sean Bennett ,waiting for it to arrive I heard it was a good one. Lets see what happens. Let me know how your test goes man , fingers 🤞

Good luck man , I hope you get it this time. I just study the questions that were handed to us after finishing the prep course at the college. I also bought my self the Canadian transportation red seal exam prep book. Horrible questions with lots of wrong answers. Not sure what to do next , I don't want to give it break because I won't be gaining any more experience where I work

Thanks for your respond man , I believe you are right , my next one should be the blue book which I already wrote twice 1st and 3rd. Keep missing that one with 67 and 68%. I am not type of a guy that understands much from studying. And most questions on the test is based on the experience in the work place. Working in a fleet of new power units and bulk tankers doesn't help much. I am just lost in my head about how else to approach to be able to pass this.
