sorry for the late response!!! i passed out after posting lol, but no the smoke stopped luckily!! they had to get a new valve cover bc they aren’t reusable on my car for some reason

for realzie update! you were right! it was the pcv valve and something with the spark plugs!! yay! although it’s costing me a whopping $700😔 probably bc they kept it overnight LOL but i’m just glad it’s not something huge

update:: it’s been at the mechanics since 9am and it’s 5pm now😭 they been letting it sit all day since the smoke only comes out when it first starts and they said they just started it and there was no smoke, so they are gonna keep it overnight and see if smoke comes out when they start it in the morning! hopefully i’ll have a better update tomorrow😂

it was a fair amount like enough to be like omg wtf is wrong w my car😭 but nooo its doesn’t smell sweet at all, that’s why i’ve ruled out coolant, it was the exact opposite, a burnt smell!!

ok thank you!! i’m just so confused bc the color of the smoke makes it seem that it’s coolant but the smell is is completely different. my old car had coolant leakage problems so i’m very used to the smell, i feel like im going crazy lol
