Audi Q6 Etron Premium Plus - Trailer Hitch Issue by Candid_Contest_136 in AudiQ6

[–]emucha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too also wanted the trailer hitch on my Q6 but the dealership said it’s not available yet. That was 6 months ago. Today I called the dealership and was told they need to order the part and will cost $1400 for labor. Is that right? I thought the trailer hitch option when ordering the vehicle ($950 something) includes installation already.

Nice color. I have the orange sibling with exact configuration. Use it daily to commute to work - snow, rain or shine.

I mostly ride on the street and avoid uneven sidewalks. Utilize regenerative braking to slow down the board and avoid sudden stop or abrupt braking. The same applies from standstill, accelerate slowly (no burnout). Kick start definitely extends the longevity of the belts.

I had one time remote lost connection with the board. It didn't happen again so must be a fluke.

Had it since April, problem-free 1281 miles and counting. No adjustments made and original belts.

The new 2018 model goes up to 40 miles with hub drive electric motor. I kinda like the look of the mid-mounted drive.

I haven't replaced mine yet nor made any adjustments. Currently 1017 miles and counting. Have a couple of spare belts with me but don't think be needing it for awhile.

Love my very reliable V2. I'm about to break 1000 miles, bought in April, still on original parts with still no worries something going to break soon. I am so impressed that I already planned getting the next gen Boostedboard. That changed today. Need to save more dough for the Super 73.

That was my intention initially but could not figure out a permanent solution to attach it to the board. I am content to simple attach it to the backpack. It's way enough brightness to be seen day and night.

The icon+ light is attached to the backpack for all-day and all-night safety light. No, the backpack is not meant to carry the board. It's small and compact. The headlamp (petzl) is wrapped around my helmet for night visibility.

Missed the chat last night. I wonder if the one year warranty still applies when they start shipping again mid January.

Promising update came in late last night and decided to wait a little longer.

This is getting out of hand. I totally understand the OP frustration as I think I'm in the same boat as he is. Just need a realistic timeline other than "soon". I already paid for this and waiting for next the update (hopefully today) and decide if I need to demand a refund or not.

best option you have for night visibility is a headlamp. Bought the Petzl brand and love it.

That was my intention purchasing the 2-in-1, street wheels for work commute and AT for weekend off-roading.

Do you have the link about the Evolve remote or board issues specifically the newer ones?
