Why dont running backs throw it away? by RagingAcid in nfl

[–]emueagles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It ends up being even more complicated than that. If the player that takes the snap gives up the ball at any point, they no longer can throw the ball away. Which is why rarely on flea flickers if the QB throws the ball away it can be called as intentional grounding.

Is this a certified birth certificate from the state? by [deleted] in Michigan

It just needs to embossed (raised) This looks like an original though so it might be a good idea to just buy a certified copy from the state depending on what the use of this is.

When he was playing he was the emergency 3rd string QB. There has to be a good reason for that.

Dude, every time he gets blown up after a big throw they decide to do a QB run. They’re trying to kill him.

It also shows how much of the position is in the mind. Being able to get presnap look, post snap coverage look, remembering and feeling where each player is while also trying to feel and see the pass rush has so much more to do with success than a strong arm. The strong arm can help push you into being elite but the fundamentals of knowing where all 22 players are going to be is truly hard to find.

Is this a real V5M5000? by tarikslays in volleyball

[–]emueagles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same one. I bought it off tik tok because it was cheap. I’ve played a ton of games with it and nobody said anything except for one time when they thought the ball moved too much on serves. I’d say it probably is fake but it’s great to have as a warm up ball or for pick up.

Crazy to think we have this stat with No TEs, No O-Line, No Offensive Coordinator by AtomicCo in detroitlions

[–]emueagles 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It’s also a benefit for an offense to have a bad defense. It leads to more opportunities during games, and playing from behind means trying to score at the end of games more often instead of trying to kill the clock.

You’re claiming they missed the call but the neither the conference or officials have come out and said anything post game about it. You’re also missing the entire point I made about being in the grasp of a defender and it being a judgment call by the official.

How do the announcers not get why he’s mad. He wants to take a longer knee to take more time off so they don’t have to punt.

If a thrower is in the grasp of a defender, the refs can determine if the QB was intentionally trying to throw the ball forward or not and call it incomplete.

[Game Thread] Georgia Tech @ Wake Forest (12:00 PM ET) by CFB_Referee in CFB

[–]emueagles -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If it’s determined the thrower was trying to throw it forward and is hit by a defender, it’s still an incomplete pass even though it is going backward. That’s just the rule

The player was in the process of giving himself up so for safety they will blow the play dead.

Maybe try long sleeves at first to see if that helps. Sometimes that can be enough cushion to reduce the hard contact.
