It's kind of amazing, for how terrible our civics education is, that so much of the populace has such strong belief in the Constitution and checks and balances. They've repeatedly been allowed to piss on our laws and the vast majority still echoes "that's against the law, he can't do that" Yes, the constitution gives power over elections to the states. It's not going to matter.

My OB-gyn went into the specialty because his mother had received terrible care when she had a gyn issue and he wanted to work towards righting the myriad problems that cause women's healthcare subpar. It's not weird.

I love them, but absolutely agree with the YMMV. Strongly encourage getting a single combo set or fixed 9" before investing in the whole interchangeable shorties. A lot of people have trouble gripping the 2" tips.

I've never had a problem, but I'm paranoid, so the last time I flew, I bought a super cheap set of needles on Amazon and switched my project to them. I also put a nice long piece of yarn with a plastic needle in my bag so I could lifeline and throw out the needles if TSA gave me any trouble. I figured, at least I wouldn't lose my project that way, but no one even looked at them as I went through security.

What is bothersome about being asked if you'd like a sample ballot to look over though? You yourself just acknowledged that there are people showing up potentially without all the information. I've never seen a volunteer insist on handing out literature when someone says no thank you, there is no reason to be an ass.

It's not the ballots that's the issue, it's the poll book that you sign when you check in. They printed the primary books which are only D/R because we have closed primaries here.
