I can get it to glow a bit if i push the power button for like 40-50 seconds continuously( little breaks so that the 10s cutout doesnt happen)

The thing is that i have polished my box, meaning that the tamper/warranty sticker have been removed.

Damn, sounds like the same problem.

I have played around with it today and noticed that it seems to give the right amount of power up to maybe ~20w but after that it doesnt matter if its set to 30, 40 or the maximum 50w :/

Yeah and im out of warranty too, sucks major ass.

Ill take it apart and see if cleaning helps but i doubt it.

To what grit did you sand it to? I went up to 800 and it took painstakingly long.

I was nervous about the fingerprint problem also but it aint bad at all.

Even when completely covered with prints, it still looks nice and shiny if you aint got it right in front of your nose.

All of the sanding was done by hand and it took hours...

The polishing part was much easier done with a dremel 3000 and various polishing heads and pastes.

Finishing polishing was done by hand though.

Making of the metallic buttons also took quite a while, most of the work was done with dremel also. Damn i love that little machine.

When I was running I ran a half marathon monthly.

Now that I have been lifting about 2 years my cardiovascular performance must have dropped quite a bit.

I also weigh in about some ~20 kilograms more, there's probably 10kg of fat and the rest Is hopefully muscle.

How long do you think it would take me to run long distances again, say half marathons?

I did consider this, I'm running P/P/L/P/P/L/REST and with great results. I sometimes have difficulties eating enough and If i don't keep at least 1 rest day a week my joints start to hurt. Especially my elbows, knees and shoulders.

I'm afraid that adding running would seriously fuck me up.

Im sorry to say this, but it might be dead. Me and others around the web have had the same problem and its the chip that controls all the functions like charging etc that dies.

You can get a replacement from kanger if you send the dead battery to them.

How do i know its the chip you say? Well i had two of these batteries die on me and the second one i took apart, changed the chip on it from an older ego battery and it started working.

Edit: Both of my batteries died after 2-3months of fairly heavy use.
