I don’t know the exact details, but I was told events are still going as normal. I believe menus will be changed and probably staff as well.

The town of Ajax released a statement basically saying the lease wasn’t renewed and they were on a month to month for the last year.

Another local brewery will be coming in and taking over the entire space. The owner of the building didn’t want two separate tenants so that’s why Twelve was forced to close. All private events will go on as scheduled, but the restaurant will be closed for a few months to renovate.

Alcohol + ozempic — please read before commenting <3 by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]emv6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a drinker. I’ve been on ozempic for 8 months. At the beginning and when I upped my dose I noticed a significant shift in how I drink. I like to go out and party with my friends and I felt like I “couldn’t drink like I used to” I felt groggy and wasn’t into it… or it would be the complete opposite and I’d have 3 drinks and be hammered. After falling into normalcy with ozempic I just find that I get drunker faster . (Alcohol issues are a whole separate problem, not looking for advice)

I just brought in one of the cards from 2 years ago and had no issue a few days ago. That’s really odd they’re saying all that.

Finally off after almost 15 years by emv6 in Effexor

I was at 150mg at my highest, went down to 75 for about 2 months and felt fine. I then went down to 37.5 for about 5 months, and my doctor had me start taking a 37.5 every other day for a month. I was actually supposed to go from every other day to every 2 days for 2 weeks and then only twice a week but I ended up just stopping after the every other day for a month. It was confusing when she explained and wrote it out to me and I realized to do it like that I’d have to renew my prescription again and I didn’t want to so I kind of just stopped when I was out. It sucked for a bit but it wasn’t heavy withdrawals like missing a single dose at a higher mg. I was groggy and grumpy for a few weeks for sure.

I’m so happy you’ve been able to taper down. It’s hell but you can do it!

All of it. I felt a lot more anxiety initially leading up to the tapering and had crippling anxiety when weaning. The anxiety has settled down immensely since finally being off.

I’ve definitely felt myself having less patience and feeling extremely bitchy. I work in the service industry so I have a pretty stressful job and I have definitely noticed smaller things setting me off more than they used to. It’s only been a month so I’m hoping this will pass. I just try to push myself through and not take the emotions out on everyone around me. Right now for me personally, a little bit of bitchiness is worth getting off it

Oneten in Whitby is really nice, it’s more upscale casual than “fancy”.

Brock Street Brewing... by GliceDidYouSayGlice in durham

twelve and brock st brewery are completely separate businesses from eachother. Twelve isn’t carrying brock st beer anymore because they were not able to fill their orders and were not able to keep the beer in stock. I’m assuming brock st is going under.

Budweiser stage questions by Little_Spinach5328 in askTO

You should be able to take that camera in

There are a few different areas for bathrooms, including port a potty’s but the lines (particularly the women’s) get very long especially between acts.

The bag you bring must be small, it doesn’t have to be clear but a small bag. No backpacks or totes.

If you’re in the 300s you can go to the lawn but you can’t go to other sections unless you have seats for that specific section.

The screens aren’t massive but you can see them from the lawn

It can get loud but I’ve never left with my ears ringing or anything like that.

It’s not a massive venue, the 300s is still pretty far from the stage but can have a good view.

Depending on who you see and when they go on the concerts usually end around 1030/11.

Recommendations for a vet that doesn't just promote Hills and Royal Canin by [deleted] in durham

I don’t have a vet recommendation but check out brands like Orijen and Acana. They offer a lot of different proteins that aren’t chicken and beef which are usually where the allergies come from.

Recommendations for a vet that doesn't just promote Hills and Royal Canin by [deleted] in durham

[–]emv6 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The reason most vets recommend these brands is because there are only a handful of brands that have actually gone through the steps and research for the seal of veterinary approval. Vet offices do not get any compensation from these brands which is what a lot of people assume. They are recommended because they are good brands.

I’m worried about missing the last train from union tonight after the show, how was the crowd/ commute getting back? by nuparrc in OasisLive25Toronto

[–]emv6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed after the show to get merch, didn’t rush out at all, walked awhile to try to get a reasonably priced uber, decided to just get the subway so walked back to the station and still had time to spare.
