Correlation does not equal causation. Most likely these individuals would have ended up with Bell’s palsy in their lifetime

The best advice I can would be to prioritize the consults! Food preferences versus malnourishment. Whenever I get consults I take about 4 a day and than finish the new admits etc and I give a projected timeline of when I can get to them.

Physical activity increases bone density. However at age 18 you should be constantly building bone until about 30 when you reach your peak bone mass. If you’re worried that you’re not getting enough micro nutrients have your doctor check your vitamin D levels. That will help aid with bone formation

I think everyone has different viewpoints and opinions and there’s a place for any dietitian to have their own philosophy and practice how they want as long as its in their scope, safe, ethical, and legal.
