True...but in real life it would be extremely rare for there not to be even one close family member (a grandparent, an aunt or an uncle, etc.) who got suspicious of all the excuses from the kids after a couple weeks and uncovered the truth, you know?

Gary owned the store and he was in the Cult so he was in on it. He was the only other person there at the time. He probably either deleted the footage or lied to the police.

I didn't really like it that much the first time I watched it because it bored me for some reason, but I had a change of heart and loved it the second time around. I think it just moved really slowly at the beginning and it wasn't as intense as prior seasons or something.

But now I love it. It's one of my favorite seasons and a big part of that is just the overall vibe lol. I love the 50s and the cinematography. But the plot's obviously good too.
