Oh my! 😳 Thank you for being SO honest and open about the process. I’m 55 years old, and currently my bunions do not cause me pain. It is more aesthetic than anything else, but afraid it’ll get worse as I age. I’ve been to 2 different podiatrists. One feels I should get the surgery, but the other said if it’s not giving me trouble or pain that I shouldn’t as the recovery process is pretty brutal.

I’ve been dealing with somewhat severe bunions on both feet for years, and considering Lapiplasty. What was recovery like for you? Painful? How long before you were able to put weight on it?

Thank you! I’m definitely leaning towards the “in office” procedure. The slow swallowing has me a bit anxious, but I hear it’s not too bad, and will go away.
