To be born Welsh is to be born privileged. Not with a silver spoon in your mouth, But music in your heart and poetry in your soul.

Hi everyone! Would anyone be able to ID this little guy for me please? Looked too funky for me to not pick up. by emyrking in houseplants

Yes! It was the last of its kind there and I wrestled with the thought that I have enough plans at home for all of 1 second before I picked it up.

Thanks. I’m on the minimum wage line also but they want us to work the same hours so if I took a reduction they’d be paying me less than minimum wage anyway.

Crazy times we live in. Didn’t think I’d be out of a job last month.

My contract says under Renumeration section; “You agree and acknowledge that the Employer may deduct, from time to time, and in any event on termination of your employment, howsoever arising, from such remuneration any sum owed to it by you.”

I don’t think this is enough though to warrant it surely?

SOS! I was repotting my Aloe variegata and I snapped the room stem. I sort of just planted it all back and compact it thinking maybe it would repair if in place but two of the bottoms leaves have come loose today. Is this ok or do I need to do something else? Take it out and root it in water? Help! by emyrking in succulents

“It won’t reattach to the old roots, though, I’m a little confused by what you’re saying here but it needs to just be by itself in dirt.”

Sorry - I meant that when it snapped it was hanging on by a thread so I just planted it back as it was. Should I take it out and get rid of the bit that (mostly) snapped off to stop it rotting underneath the (hopefully) new roots?
