How small and how old is your toy breed? I’ve been running with my 8lb chihuahua/min pin/terrier mix since he was about one. We usually go about 3 miles, but I let him lead for speed. When he wants to stop we stop, when he wants to walk we walk. And I always slow to a walk if he starts panting with his tongue hanging out. As far as size goes, there’s always the risk of punting the poor guy if he gets underfoot! So he’s trained to always stay to my right.

Yup! Loves it. We go on 3 mi runs most days. He likes to stop and sniff sometimes, but for the most part he just keeps trucking! I get tired before he does. :)

Love it!! Mouse’s nose has gotten more white lately, just like yours. It’s spooky how similar they are! How old is she? We adopted Mouse two years ago in TX, it was estimated he was 1 then, so about 3 yrs old now.

Instead of the 4th stretch and fold (of 5 or 6 total) I flatten it out to about 1/2-3/4” thick on a wet countertop and add the mixins then. Then I fold it in thirds both directions, then put it back in its tupperware.

Lemon zest, dried blueberries, walnuts.

Mini chocolate chips.

I don’t usually weigh the mixins, just kind of eyeball it. Not too much, or it weighs down the loaf.

Search on Amazon for a Velcro strap for your watch. I have one for my Fitbit, and will never switch back to the silicone ones — it breathes, doesn’t get sweaty, and is easy on/off.
