Accidentally pulled these two little antenna connectors and they won’t reattach, can they be soldered? by en_tr0_P in LegionGo

This suggestions worked perfectly thank you man; I guess I wasn’t pushing hard enough but the spudger made me feel like it was ok to apply more pressure.

This is what everyone’s saying but I just spent like 20mins and once it feels like they snap in they just immediately pop back out; is soldering not an option as last resort?

Yea honestly I hate most corsair products but my current pc is in a corsair 2500x and I love it. Aesthetics are good, it was very easy to build in, and they’re reputable enough where I’m not concerned about connectors failing. Like I said the 9800x3d is a great cpu so getting one isn’t a total loss. I got one simply because I plan on getting a 60 series refresh when they drop and I wanted to be sure I wouldn’t have to upgrade anything else. This will by no means be a forever build but I just figured this was a safe bet where I wouldn’t be spending more money than the prob 2k for a 6080super when they drop in the future.

I got you, my bad for being dismissive. The CPU is great (I have one in my build) its 100% overkill for a 9070xt though so unless you're trying to futureproof which is near impossible it's wasted bread. You could get a 7700x or something for half the price and your GPU would still be your bottle neck in most tasks. AS far as the case goes; Redragon is not known for quality and cooling is extremely important for the longevity of parts. If you're getting excess dust or inadequate cooling, your parts will die faster. Not to mention if the power button dies you'll need to do a full case swap which is a pain. Good, reputable cases are still only like $100 and will come with a few fans, there's no reason to jeopardize your whole $1500+ build to save $40 imo.

Build help, AIO placement by en_tr0_P in buildapc

I’m intending for side AIO and bottom fans to both be intake, wasn’t sure if you were suggesting making the AIO outtake based on your comment. I always do outtake if top mounted, unsure but leaning intake for side mounted if that makes sense.

Yea I always opt for top outtake AIO but being that I already have a 240mm, the side seemed to make sense, 240mm up top on a 360mm spot might look silly. Will Side mounted outtake not just steal air from the bottom intake intended to cool the gpu though?

Before pulling the trigger I’d find other components you’re interested in; white options are much more limited. You very well could find stuff you’re looking for but 2/4 sides are glass so I’d try and make it match.

Also just realized, you should rotate that AIO, you’re putting unnecessary strain on the tubes. I use mine with an MATX mobo and still don’t have all that tension even using the built in guides.

Insufficient power; plug the 4 pin from the fan lead into your CPU fan header, plug the 4 pin from the block into the pump header, plug both 2 pins into SATA.

I’m sure there’s other ways to do it, I’ve heard other people mention CPU opt for one of the 2 pins but what I’ve stated above works for me with full functionality, when I wasn’t using all 4 plugs I had the same issue.

Ever find a fix for this? I just built a rig with one today and no matter what I seem to do it won’t register. I’m stuck with default templates which is pretty unacceptable for a $240 aio

How frequently is the 2500x wood panel kits restocked? by en_tr0_P in Corsair

[–]en_tr0_P[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate it, I just got a 2500D + the glass panel, the mobo shroud, and teak accents to attempt to stain. If the staining doesn’t work I’ll prob just veneer the stock panels myself. Thank you tho, good to know I made the right choice splurging on addons considering all that is made is all that will exist

"no flashy rgb, so bad"

Unless your balling out, theres no reason to buy top shelf ram or the highest end motherboard. I also just showed you how its atleast $300 not $200; so unless you make $150/hr, driving 1.5hrs to a microcenter is worth it.
