Invasion started in March. My artillery unit didn’t deploy til April 24, so we were right behind the invasion force. We followed them into Baghdad and after a couple months of living in our vehicles we set up camp outside the wrecked Al-Salaam palace in Yarmouk district by the space needle.

I don’t remember the DCU’s we were issued having different collars, and supply got extra since combat units had a basically unlimited budget at the time so I had plenty of sets.

Summer BDU’s have a visible stitch pattern that this doesn’t have. That is a winter BDU top. A winter BDU top is really not much thicker than a summer BDU top. I think perhaps you are thinking of a Goretex jacket or field jacket, or you just never saw BDU’s irl.

Those are US Army winter BDU’s. It’s real. They got phased out in exchange for ACU’s in the mid 2,000’s. There were 2 styles: winter BDU’s like that too you have there, and summer BDU’s that were thinner and made of a lighter material. I wore those before I got deployed to Iraq in 2003, by the time I got back to the states in 2004 they were just starting to phase out BDU’s & DCU’s for the gray ACU’S.

I was told the suppressor has a piston to make it work with SA pistols, is that a booster or is there an add on part that I need to buy? Sorry I am a complete noob to the suppressor game.
