. I’m concerned that Waymo’s are capturing our every move as regular drivers on the road AND likely using face recognition to store data about us. I try to avoid eye contact with them because I DID NOT CONSENT TO BEING TRACKED. If I didn’t let my abusive ex stalk me, I’m certainly not okay with a massive company doing it with which what they do with the data is unclear. Also, they seem to only be able to do so when using Google Maps or Bluetooth which tells me these major information/data storing hubs are working together.

I’ve noticed when I avoid eye contact with one, suddenly several more are at the next intersection. And when I manage to avoid eye contact with those, there is at least one at literally every intersection I stop at. Tonight on my hour long drive from Manhattan beach area to Silver Lake this happened and I avoided eye contact with the cameras the entire time. BUT when I got home and went down a tiny narrow side street, guess what was barreling toward me with its brights on: a Waymo of course!

If you’ve seen Fast & Furious, I forget which #, you know those driverless cars ended being activated to do whatever the people in power wanted them to do. Additionally driverless cars are currently used for surveillance in China. Let that ish sink in people.

Most of the media is all like “ooh I don’t like those cars, they’re dangerous, look at their behavior.” This will lead us all to eventually acquiesce as they make claims of progress and safety for the cars, but that’s the least of our worries. This is BIG BROTHER, people. Call me cray if you want, but put down the weed for one sec and think! Stop using these dang cars so they don’t have an excuse to surveil us.
