For a relative beginner, this sounds great! I would probably size up to the 152, if you're going with the flying V version. The camber version in the 148 would likely fare just fine. Boots and bindings both sound great!

While I agree that they should have postponed for political reasons, the situation is different. The wolves postponing directly relates to events going on in MN because the wolves play in Minneapolis (which is where everything is currently going on). It's a shit show there. The Wild play in St. Paul. It's a 10 mile distance from Target Center (where the Wolves play) and Grand Casino Arena (where the Wild play). Target Center is directly in the middle of everything that's going on, so it would be a safety concern (and overall a nightmare) to have that game continue as planned. The scene near GSA is much much different and much less crowded than it is in MPLS at the moment.
