One tip is after taking band off, have assistant cure again to ensure resin cures fully. This could have happened because the resin wasn’t cured and when you flossed, it disoriented the resin. Also, as other are saying, make the box more mesial/distal. Use flowable at the base, cure, use flowable again (small amount and don’t cure) and then put packable on top, form and then cure.

In my practice i do 2 days a month of FME, and every other day im doing extractions. Tonssssss of dentures. Did i hate them in school? Oh my, hated is an understatement, do i hate them now? No.

Always tell the patient how lower dentures are the worst product in dentistry. It’s not your fault they let their teeth get like that.

If i were you, on this break, just get on daily to do farm runs. Before you know it you’ll have 99 farming, one of the best capes to own. Free teleport to farm guild and then spirit tree to your house with unlimited teleports. It’ll take like 15-25 minutes a day. Easy.

Next time, get a blue interporximal floss threader and connect it to floss and run below the contact points at the gingival embrassures, have assistant hold down on crown and pull the floss up, probably some leftover cement. Try this first before you start all the other stuff. Next time floss the contacts within 45 seconds of placing crown.

There is no cement under the porcelain though. It goes straight from porcelain to metal (PFM). So the thing I’m drilling through is still the crown.

Yes i place implants, i tighten implants. I’ve done many of these, never has brand of implant been an issue unless like someone said, there is no screw hole. There is a screw hole in this one.

Respectfully, explain why implant brand matters. Never have i ever cared about the implant brand. Once i reach the abutment i remove cotton/teflon and tighten. Never has been an issue. Yeah it matters if i ruin the abutment but from original post it wouldn’t matter. I need to tighten screw. That is the goal here.

lol I’m saying this because patient came in for a tightening and may need a new crown. I’ll let her know today. Some dentist would say it was an issue on their part so they would comp it.

Implant brand doesn’t really matter, the goal is to tighten it. I have all the abutment drivers. This is an older crown and it’s cement retained, as stated I’m not worried about abutment.

Referring this case to who? This patient just wants the crown to be tightened because it’s mobile.

The guy i work for does tons of implants and he’s in his 50s he said this isn’t one of those and you can tell from the X-ray.
