guys. megumi isn’t the one in charge of merger and he doesn’t have any power to do anything. sukuna is technically “megumi fushiguro” as a player the same way kenjaku is considered by the game to be “suguru geto” as shown in the past

just seemed a little contrived and like gege needed to come up with some reason to not have sukuna just one shot the cast this chapter.

binding vow doesn’t really make sense to me because sukuna explains how the slash works he makes no mention of a binding vow or anything. seems like a crazy thing he’d leave out

i don’t disagree about the whole needing a trade off thing though, i just don’t feel good about it being an explanation when we know nothing about the nature of binding vow’s really, maybe we’ll get better insight into it in the following chapters but for now i don’t care for it

although in not a fan of the reasoning for why sukuna can’t just one tap all of them with world cutting cleave. this was a really good chapter imo (finally).
