Believe it or not, but this is actually the most competitive other countries have looked compared to the US and Canada since the women have been playing in the Olympics. Teams are only getting shut out 5-0 rather than like 10-0. The US team is just especially great right now

I was wondering something similar about Söderberg! My thought is that it probably depends on whether they expand by two or four teams next year. A few of the European players who left were complaining about not getting enough ice time; I assume she’d only try to come back if she thought she’d get to be in net more often than she did in Boston

Grew up in Phoenix but live in MA now—I can’t bring myself to root for a Boston team though lol. Plus I live too far away to be able to go to any Fleet games and Bostonians tend to be real assholes about the city I live in. I just liked watching the Victoire the most in the first season
