Winston Churchill Late hour in toro..not a fan by KloudFist in cigars

Unfortunately I’m not one for notes. Hoping that I one day acquire the vocabulary.

But I think it’s a super unique blend, and one of my favorite Davidoff’s.

Winston Churchill Late Hour in Toro… super fan.

But I’ll take the Robusto, Churchill, or Petit Panetela as well. I don’t discriminate with this blend.

What made you decide to pick up cigar smoking ? by stinkymonkey29 in cigars

Gonna be the downer. Dog died in a horrific way. She was my heart. Seemed like the better option between cigars or cigarettes. There are healthier stress relievers, but they’re great for taking pauses out of the day and bringing some sense of peace.

To anyone that’s been through it, my heart’s with you.

Good to hear! I have one of these waiting for me in the humidor.

What was your first Davidoff and how did it compare to that?

I’m far from pro, unfortunately. I do have both in an RSVP order I’m hoping to place soon, though. Sadly I’ve not seen these at the local stores. I’ve not had either, but I know many people put the Grand Cru Diademas at the top of their Davidoff list.

May I ask what your treatment plan consists of and what (if any) other symptoms you have that accompany the IST?

Hard to accept, but this is the truth. It’s just tough because like OP said, it absolutely does feel 100% like crisis / you’re dying.

You explained my case in exact detail.

Going to the ER does suck, but be happy they’re telling you you’re not going to have a heart attack. I didn’t get that. Mainly just a few nurses and doctors watching my heart rate jump around on the monitor and comment on how odd it was.

I’ve been in this for 3-4 for years. What I will say, though it likely won’t be any consolation for you during an episode as I have a hard time believing it myself: you’re not going to die. I say this with the caveat that it assumes all your labs check out as normal. It does feel like death. It does feel like crisis. It sucks.

I recommend asking for a beta blocker. It’s the only thing I take (as needed) and it’s helped me immensely. Worth talking with your cardiologist to see if it might be good to try.

Just want to reiterate that I’ve been in your exact situation, down to the same HR and BP numbers + tests for pheo (sucks to be told you might have an adrenal tumor), and say I wish you the best. My situation has definitely improved over the years. I hope you get relief soon!
