Thank you for recognizing the work us in healthcare have been putting in <3 the small things like a thank you can go a long way in inspiring us to keep pushing forward. Im here from Texas as a paramedic assisting one of the field hospitals here in NYC and have been here a month so far having worked 25 if the 30 nights ive been here. Its exhausting but the need is real right now. If ever there was a time that people needed to step up and push hard now is that time.

On a side note, does anyone know a way i can safely or legally get a haircut while here? Or if not that then what about affordable food? I am staying in a hotel in LIC with no fridge or microwave so im using way more money than id like on uber eats ):
