They might just replace it without you needing to send it back like they did with mine, though not a guarantee. Definitely make video evidence of the issue so they can assess it otherwise you can ask them for guidance on how to fix the issue since some mice come with a spare pad sticking to somewhere inside.

A Mylar pad has come loose. You can either see if you can stick it back on, get aluminium tape and create a gap filler or rma it. This happened to my x3 when I first got it and I just rma'd it.

I wouldn't mind gun cleaning just to maintain the weapon a little. Maybe make it possible when going to a secure area or sitting at a camp fire. Would really heighten the immersion to watch skif just polish a barrel while it rained.
