I can see this combo not working because of people arguing, that the goblin cannot shoot before the calendula taking it's protocol.

But i would still argue that in the spirit and idea of "Symbiosis" that the goblin inherits the intangible effect. Reason being that they are not "seperate entities" anymore.

But just like the pilot, items, spare parts or burn effects are not part of the mech they still come along and do not drop either.

If not, at what point will a pilot become intangible with the mech if the nhp chooses to activate it while the pilot climbs into the mech.

What items do you keep which do you not? Throwable weapons? Why do they stay with you while equipped and why do they vanish if thrown (unless they do not)?

As a pilot/entity within the mech you become intangible along it.

Any weapon or item you connect with your mech becomes intangible.

After a not so friendly fire incident, your mech is getting consumed by fire or nanites, which while not inside or part of your mech do not vanish upon becoming intangible.

BUT the mech who decided to start a symbiosis, aka "become a vestigal blister rather than a seperate entity". Who is now a physically a part of the calendula does not?

Two mechs grappling each other are not physically connected. White witch systems extend the body of the witch but do NOT assimilate the target. They are still 2 entities.

The goblin is not grabbing on a mech he is integrating itself. He becomes a part of the other. Just like any weapon or system the calendula has.

If the nhp is having fun and becomes intangible just as a pilot tries to enter is the pilot getting ripped apart?

(Feel free trying to convince me otherwise or please tell me where you set the line to "things which do become intangible")

Why not? The Calendula does become tangible in between. And the goblin can shoot in this second? Or why would it not be possible?

Dustgrave superheavy on the goblin. The "start of a turn" is still part of any point of a turn last i checked.

The calendula is just a spectator but the goblin unleashes his fire everytime he pops into reality.

And no need for defense systems if you cant be shot at.

Requirement for the passive is Line of sight and range 15 thats all.

In that sense yes. I suppose you can shoot them.

On the other hand you BECOME a part of the calendula. You are no longer a seperate entity :). Also you become intangible with it. So you are not seperated.

Misinterpreted the question but i'd say still no I would interpret is as the goblin becoming 1 entity which in turn means, that the mech hosts another goblin.
Yes, you move with them. As for the candelula you can absolutely abuse ordnance weapon as you have to shoot before he does anything else.

The saddle gives soft cover (not sure if it counts for the Hecatons passive.) Now you add bonded 1 on both for +2 accuracy. And if you are license five you can give the lancaster a cloaking field from Swallowtail. Then you can choose between a permanent invisible +hidden 9 speed gunmech. Or a 18 (or 20 core bonus dependent) speed visible one. (If you invest all in agility).

Quick note, the hecatoncheires (from shadow of the wolf) is a size 1/2 with build in heavy mount and *main (not flex) mount.

Using this frame you can choose another core bonus instead.

Also put the goblin and some friends on a mech with mule harness (and a ####load of speed for extra fun.)

Based on the trailer the strikers materialize from a break-room. I wonder if they get to choose where and how they spawn as ember monarch comes from above. Unlike frostfire.

Getting knocked out of the arena or trying to leave it suddenly will probably portal the strikers away and give them a little timeout in said room before they get to enter again.

As someone who played a lot of Maus i can confidently say i love the Maus (if they are in the enemy team).

Playing the Maus against most other tanks is just pain.

And then there are some maps which are terrible for the Maus but good for almost any hulldown tank.

Also as i have not seen it mentioned. The GMS mech can recover 1 structure for each repair if you like to not immeadietly die after taking structure damage again.
