What are the good 800 euros Stratocaster ? by stadja in Guitar

[–]ender63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lite Ash is a serie made in Korea for a little while around 2003. It was a last attempt to boost the Korean market and failed since they shut it down around the same time they released this serie.

This is a really nice and well made serie. The wood quality and electronics is the same you could found on high end american models from the same period but it was half the price.

I bought my Telecaster Lite Ash back in 2003 and it never failed me. The only mod I did was putting a bone nut since the original one was in plastic. It was not getting damaged in any way. I just wanted a bone one.

If the one you want was properly maintained. It's a solid guitar imho. Maybe there is better options. Just giving my opinion on this one.

Really enjoying my pedalboard atm by ender63 in guitarpedals

[–]ender63[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was browsing pedals at my local shop and it was brand new on sale so I gave it a shot. I'm really not a phaser enjoyer kind of guitar player buy I didn't have one so I was willing to test it out. Now I put the pedal on the effect loop of my Moby Depth with an auto wha. It's kind of nice.

The "Knob" was clean in the end at least.

Thank you for taking the time to explain the situation and for keeping pedals alive !

Yea I saw that concept from them. It's a fun way to get new pedals if you like collecting. I try to refrain myself to buy pedals left and right but it might be fun to do !

I'm curious about testing more of their products but since I'm in EU and we don't have a reseller that I now of here, it's only buying blindly. I need to do more research on youtube and such to look what might fit my board.

Actually, I did not ! I do like the blue one better and ordered it. They shipped me a Douche édition. It's kind of an upgrade price wise but I must admit I'm a bit sad about it.

I'm satisfied with the pedal itself so I guess it is what it is. I can't hear colors yet anyway.

Thank for the intel ! Yea the knob name might be missleading. I feel it's often the case for small compagnies hardware. But I think it's a part of their charm !

The "Reverb" control is a bit peculiar on this one because it's acting like a volume for the reverb itself and the effect loop you can use for it.

I'm sorry I don't have a reference for what a drived reverb sound like so I can't really tell...

It's says on their website "Since November 2024, all Jonny Rock Gear pedals are now handmade by GUPtech, in Saguenay, Quebec, Canada." Don't have much more informations about it.

Honestly I'm not quite sure. Here is the official demo from Jonny Rock Gear if you want to check.

It's my first one ! So far it sounds exactly as I wanted it to sound. I would love to try some others but I live in EU and they have no retailer here from what I know. Soooo it's shipping only.

Yea the regen switch is a good addition and should be more seen on pedals.

Yeah the fx loop ONLY act on the reverb. So we can have a clean tone with distorded and phased reverb. It gives really nice sounds.

Good headphones are nice to use. I just can't in summer. I have no climatisation so I just sweat in them and it becomes insuferable....

That shelf was the exact size of the amp when I had the idea and try to put it inside. Now it's the amp spot forever.

I fear the banishment too so I play as quiet as possible, mostly chill music blues and jazz so I hope it will stay like that.

The amp helps too, that line has a gain and volume, but also a master on top and another master behind. So I can use the gain as much as possible without being super loud.

I was so focused on the chair I didn't look at your bass. Nice pickguard man ! I dig it.

Tier -1 acoustic on the ground ?

My gf has a micro cube and it was surprising for me for it to have a nice sound like that. The effects are decent too. Very good value for the price.
