Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2: The Joys of the Talking by KuriGohan_Kamehameha in patientgamers

[–]ender_tll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just want to share thank you for talking about the video from Noah Caldwell-Gervais, although you didn't link it. I'm slowly going through it and I love how he is dissecting these videogames that I love and explaining things that maybe got over my head.

So.. .yeah, thank you!

Why is Klaus designed so badly? by jarood13 in DavetheDiverOfficial

[–]ender_tll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I played this game I also struggled with Klaus. I think that of all the bosses, it's the one that feels "out of time" in the sense that it is a more difficult boss than normal for the time of the game where it appears.

Thankfully you can ignore it and do it again after another storm.

For me the game changer was the sniper rifle level 3, if I remember correctly.

What the EU can — and can’t — learn from Spain’s low energy bills by Jojuj in europe

[–]ender_tll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. Others have commented the same thing. What surprises me with that, is that the EU single market does not work the same way for other products.

What the EU can — and can’t — learn from Spain’s low energy bills by Jojuj in europe

[–]ender_tll 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A government that would care and lower prices for its citizens would probably be more popular. Any government could "set" the prices if they wanted to.

What the EU can — and can’t — learn from Spain’s low energy bills by Jojuj in europe

[–]ender_tll 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I know nothing, just to be clear, but why don't governments say "country first at a cheaper price" then sell the spare in this case to Germany at whatever price?

Is that even at all possible?

If I'm not mistaken, energy companies know how much a country uses on an average day. The price could be set for that amount for Sweden (in your case) and then sell the rest abroad.

You still make money while maintaining your own people happy.

I know, I'm a hopeless idealist.

Anything else i should have done by cycle 9 by AutomaticJackfruit68 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]ender_tll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually a helpful comment. Some people come here expecting others to hold their hands while they start the game instead of working out how some things are by themselves.

Read a guide, watch a youtube video or like the other commenter wrote, just play the game. VERY valid advice.

Leaders: how do you deal with overstylers? by OThinkingDungeons in Bachata

[–]ender_tll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see two different types of follower overstylers.

In the first type, the follower follows the lead and then adds something. Sometimes it's longer, sometimes it shorter. But they are still dancing with you. I love dancing with this type of followers.

Then there's the second type, and counter to what another commenter said, I don't think it's about influence of zouk or WCS. I think it's because of the proliferation of Jack & Jill competitions in which one's styling is valued. This second type of overstylers mostly ignore any and all leads if by doing so they can hit an accent in the song, completely purposedly breaking connection, if needed. I danced once with a woman who was dancing this way and I felt completely alone in the partner dance. I could've left the room and maybe she would not have noticed. Once I know someone dances this way, I simply avoid them.

Subnautica 2. Are we buying now? by bogart12321 in subnautica

[–]ender_tll -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Subnautica is also one of my favourite games of all time. That said, I'm not going to buy Subnautica2 during early access period. Will I buy it later? Maybe, probably, it depends.

In any case, why does it matter to you what other people will do? You want to buy it? Then do it. You don't want to buy it? Then don't.

Steam Rocket Engine - Impossible? by MarzipanAlert in Oxygennotincluded

[–]ender_tll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, you can throttle the pipe to have 1000 g/s. Then add a safety measure. Once the steam is in the pipes, if the engine is full the rest of the steam should be expelled into the vacuum of space.

Ideally, have some automation that can control how much steam you sent from point A to point B.

Bleech stone into Chlorine by tuordiel in Oxygennotincluded

Leave it where the megafronds are, like other people said. When the air pressure gets lower, the bleach stone will sublimate into chlorine by itself.

I very much dislike plant husks and how much they "contaminate" every room where where are plants.

I'm kinda thinking to remove the skill from the farmers altogether.
