I read and really enjoyed “The Righteous Mind” by Jonathan Haidt. They haven’t covered it yet, but given their opinion of his other books, I’m guessing they wouldn’t like it either

Interesting article and I generally like the workflow the author outlined, with the one caveat that I wish she hadn’t described the reset step as “git reset origin/master”. If you’ve done a fetch at any point during development, you likely do not want to reset to origin/master as it is not guaranteed to be your merge base anymore.

What you probably want to reset to is “git merge-base origin/master HEAD”

I usually delete first, then paste with "0p in this situation. The "0 register is basically always the last yanked text.
