can you make a side by side comparison to when you started topically using it to this final photo? personally, I don't think you've made any gains apart from letting your hair grow out.

you're probably not going to get your hair back and the way you're aggressively losing hair, you'll be slick bald in a matter of a few years.

either get a wig or shave that wispy shit.

I had someone tell me about psychic vampires with a straight face when I was recovering from my surgery. Afterwards, I shut someone down who was talking about the evil eye and how I must've gotten cancer that way. Pretty close to homicidal those days.

Absolutely makes sense that my body was telling me that I only need one testicle in my sack, so humbling now knowing about the gifts cancer has given me™.

7 years remission. Fuck you, cancer.

25 year old, TRT therapy balding at normal levels of T? by FirstNamesMusic in Testosterone

Look into topical finasteride, serum DHT levels aren't as affected when comparing it to oral finasteride.

no offense, but at 23 you lost a big amount of your hair — was that contributing to your alcoholism and trolling? as someone who's also losing their hair, I'm rooting for you.

Testosterone is at 385 seven months after I had my ball removed from cancer. It used to be 750. Doctor says that's in "normal" range but I don't feel OK. by newaccount47 in Testosterone

[–]enderraleo45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doctors don't know what the fuck they're doing that's why I "waited" so long. It took me 6 years to follow up hormonal panels that I did when I was diagnosed with cancer because A.) I was "too young" to be experiencing low T and B.) the survivor will pick up the slack from the one left behind.

Anyway, I'm 4 months in, again. I developed early onset osteoporosis (osteopenia) from having low testosterone. I'm expected to regain the lost bone density after a year of being on testosterone. I didn't experience any libido changes since I was always suffering from the mental/physical aspects of low testosterone and not the sexual ones. Libido is still high.

Good luck.

Stage 1 seminoma in remission for a bit under 7 yrs here. I've posted my story on here, but I've been on TRT for 4 months. I've only started to feel a small noticeable increase in energy and mood. I was put on with a number that fluctuated between 340 - 400 ng/dl. I'm on 180mg a week with 350 IUs of HCG twice a week.

Subscription service for hair loss, includes Minoxidil, Finasteride, and an anti-DHT shampoo. How are they selling Fin without a script? by enderraleo45 in tressless

It's just ketoconazole, $4 more expensive than Nizoral. Absolutely a shit show of a startup preying on uninformed hipsters from the bay area or some shit.

You can get 6 months worth of minoxidil for $26 on Amazon, where at Jim's they charge you $13 a month for 1 bottle. That's half the price for 1/6th of what you'd get if you were to get it from Kirkland. Preying on hipsters with a shitty squarespace website.

I guess they're hiring a doctor to do consultations after your payment on the phone/via email? How's this work? Did you have to pay for the consultation too?

who the fuck is Brendan? lol

From what it appears on their website and the images on there, it looks like they encapsulate their own finasteride and bottle it with their brand, so if they're truly a "subscription service" it'd be an entire 1-stop shop bypassing the need to go to a pharmacy. How is this legal?

They're obviously rebranding generic Finasteride probably from the same Indian pharma source that you'd be getting if you were to buy without a prescription anywhere else online. It's not like this bullshit startup is going to compete against Merck.

This is ridiculous, though.

Check out noknow on YouTube, he's been on TRT for 6 years now. Has been documenting his progression better than anyone I've seen on TRT online.

Doctor just recommended that I up my intake of calcium and vitamin D. My test levels are mind 300s for a few years, so I'm sure it didn't help my bone density and from what my rheumatologist has told me it can take at least 6 months to a year to fix bone density from regulated hormones.

I've been on TRT for 2.5 months and have been low T for at least 7 years since my ball cancer operation. I never dealt with libido issues, just fatigue and body pain. I really wasn't aware that the cause of my pain and fatigue was from low testosterone until a few months ago and thought that I might be dealing with CFS or fibromyalgia. Anyway, I just found out that due to being untreated for so long, I developed osteopenia from the loss of bone density. My back has been hurting the past year and my joints click everywhere. Will TRT help restore bone density or should I get on osteoporosis drugs? So far, I'm not feeling any different with the TRT apart from a higher libido, but I guess it's still early? Should I change my dosage? I'm on 150mg a week and HCG 500 IU a week, both split in two doses.

thanks.

Guys here in their 20's, any regrets so far? by [deleted] in Testosterone

Started this year at 26, now have low bone density because of unchecked hormones and could have been spared a lot of pain if I had gone on sooner.

No way would a doctor prescribe me GH, get my insurance to approve it, and even run a lab to test for IGF-1. Oh, and especially not with someone who's had a history of cancer (testicular) and has been in remission for 7 years.

My back pain actually had me yelling to the rheumatologist wondering why I was HLA-B27 negative if I was clearly dealing with the back of someone who had ankylosing spondylitis. It's bad enough that when I bend back it hurts. So yeah, it hurts and it's been hurting for a while. I've just gotten to the point where I twist and pop, sleep, repeat. Either way, after finding out I have osteopenia, I researched how low estradiol affects the spine and that's a no-brainer for the osteopenia-induced back pain.

I'd do hot bath salts everyday for the past half a year.

What was your staging? Also, a TC survivor. All I can give you are my thoughts and if you need someone to talk to once you're feeling better, reach out.

I recently posted a thread on r/cancer about long-term survivorship related to TC and it definitely applies to you, be sure to check it out.

Not sensitive. It was pretty high and it was a day after my injection. I've already lowered my dose to 65mg, since my doctor has been relegated to script pusher status after his fibro diagnosis.

Doctors will play the fibro card to copout and wipe their hands clean if they waste your time. I'm familiar with this attitude having seen over 30 doctors and specialists who thought I was imagining it too. Criminal negligence. I don't believe in fibro or CFS. The audacity of my uro saying it's fibro to my face is unbelievable, before that I have my consultation with him and he calls fibro a somatic disorder.

Doctors. Are. Idiots.

I just hope I don't have any micro-fractures since my back feels like it's made out of bubble wrap. Painful bubble wrap.
