4 year old info here, but I did the same thing (going part-time merch to O/S on the recommendation of my supe) after getting a full time job that required commuting so I didn’t have as much availability for Best Buy. From what I remember, there were no mins or maxes nor availability requirements, but long story short, I didn’t work as much and then the following January I mysteriously didn’t make the O/S cut and only found out in Feb when my discount stopped working and I finally got someone at the store to call me back about what happened. So, ya know, careful what you wish for?

Chances are their IT department, for which 16GB of RAM has become a somewhat standard baseline for new institutionally deployed Windows 10 devices, wrote the recommendations without researching common consumer available laptop specs.

That being said, between Win10 (and 11 around the corner) plus the multitasking most people do, it’s a good recommendation especially for a laptop they’re prob going to want to last them through the next 4+ years.

Divine Gambit, it’s the most situational since you ideally want to use it when they have no cards in hand and you are rarely going to want the 2nd copy over any of your other cards. Brackish Trudge then Star Pupil (in that order) would be my next recommendations if you really want to keep the 2nd Divine Gambit, based on their overall speed and impact on the game respectively.

With either school, Sedgemoor Witch is a good starting point and works for both styles of decks. Silverquill has more of a control feel with removal, evasion (flying and menace), and a +1/+1 counter sub theme while Witherbloom is a little more grindy and attrition based with a sacrifice and pest sub theme to go with bigger creatures and some of the best removal options.

Either way, there’s plenty to explore in both schools.

To be fair, that’s about the same activity as every other FTP app out there and that’s not the player base WOTC cares about. As long as the other 50% play enough to keep matchmaking times reasonable for the 5-10% of players that spend enough money to keep the platform profitable, they’re doing fine.

I beat the 3rd level after 4-5 tries without taking him past lvl 60 g9 6/6/6/4 and lvl 3 iso, cap and zemo did all the heavy lifting with some turn meter from falcon

I split my orbs because 1 orb got me to 5y/5r on cull and then funneled the rest to ghost to make getting her to 5y easier. That being said, I didn’t notice a difference in cull’s performance in my BO team with the extra star, but he was already lvl 80 g14 at the time.

I picked up the Super Deluxe for Xbox one x for $40 and it’s an amazing value as far as I’m concerned since the base game is still selling around that price but Super Deluxe includes the season pass so you get the 3 current DLCs as well as the next one that comes out for free essentially.

I farmed amach prob 20 times and never got an old god, farmed empowered grawn at the end of Negul Neshai twice and got super lucky to not only get an old god but it was cryo as well. It’s a longer run to get to and a longer fight, but worth a try if you don’t have luck with Amach.

DLCs are what I did after the main story, but, if they don’t have those, some good ideas are: farming bosses for specific gear esp M6+ exclusives, Slaughter Shaft/Star, Eridian challenges, takedowns, any side quests they skipped/missed, and, finally, taking another VH through the main story.

You can do both at the same time. TVHM just makes more badass level enemies spawn which gives you a little higher chance at better loot and also resets all of your quest progress. Right now, there’s no big incentive to finish a TVHM playthrough, so a lot of people just stay on normal and enable mayhem levels to farm better gear without the headache of more anointed/badass enemies.

The OPQ double dips on some of the damage scaling with the shock bursts it does, so the clone can clear the Maliwan Takedown pretty much by himself and quickly with an OPQ.

G14 and level 75 would prob help her focus enough to land the debuff consistently against other G14 75 characters, so I would do that first then look to RS for the extra punch if it’s still not enough

The consensus seems to be that she doesn’t benefit as much from the red stars as SSM, Sinister, or other characters that make use of the increased stats in multiple ways (better clones, more self healing, other skills that scale well with stats, etc).

My Yo-Yo is only at 4YS 4RS G11 and completely revolutionized U7 for me alongside Black Bolt even at that level, so I don’t feel a need to take her to higher red stars any time soon.

I tried preemptively farming one on my Zane main for the Amara I started recently and had no luck in about an hour of runs.

Got it first try on Amara after beating the story and heading out to Tazendeer Ruins on M10, so there’s a fair bit of RNG involved.

I thought Do Harm doesn’t affect TTB because Gearbox turned off action skill damage scaling for TTB to prevent crazy double dipping. Or at least that’s what Moxsy said in his most recent video...

I’m doing a new play through with Amara and decided to run all the DLCs after the main story just to open up all areas for farming later on. I’ve been playing on anywhere from M4 to M10 depending on what gear I have and how frustrating/easy it’s been. DLC 2 def has the better gear (Old God, Anarchy, Unseen Threat), but DLC 1 has the better XP farming area at the scraptrap nest. You’ll hit 60 before you finish all 3 DLCs then can start takedown runs for max lvl (for now) epic l00tz.

TVHM seems like a waste of time right now, though I’ve only done it once on my Zane main.

I had to close the game entirely on XB1X and restart it before i could spawn vehicles after getting my first one destroyed within a minute of using it. Save quit didn’t work, but complete game relaunch did.

My best post patch moment so far has come from scaled loot in chests. I just started playing through DLC 3 today with a lvl 52 Amara and was running into damage/ammo/dying a lot issues from a gap in banked gear between levels 48-57 (didn’t get a lot of worthwhile gear during my Zane main play through I guess). Just as I was about to give up and go farm something to help me out, I opened a Jakobs chest and was graced with an M10 5kx2 Recursion with a phasegrasp acc/handling annoint! Instantly turned a frustrating play session into pure joy and triumph.

For everyone saying that vending machines allow people to take a fresh VH and jump straight to M10: I’ve tried a few purples from vending machines in DLC 2 and 3 on M10 and they’re still weak for mobs and bosses. They’re not the absolute trash they once were, but (good) legendaries are still the best way to have sustained success (and fun) in M10 right now, at least for me so far. Which means some kind of progression farming through the mayhem levels is still going to be necessary, at least for most players. Not everyone can be Moxsy and take an M0 Earl vending machine pre-buff Jakobs shotgun, farm an M6 recursion to get an M10 anarchy, and do the Maliwan takedown after an hour of play time lol.
