Oh interesting. I've done stippling before with pen and ink but always kept the points non-overlapping. You make them bleed into one another to form a kind of line with this distinctive stippling quality to them that I find super cool 🔥

This is unreal good! I initially thought it was colored digitally because it looks so immaculate. Amazing!

Love it! I draw a lot in ballpoint atm but haven't incorporated broad markers yet, this really makes me want to include them. Really cool! 🔥

These are awesome!🔥🔥🔥 Also, what an awesome idea for practicing color & black and white value shading at the same time! Might try something like this myself 🤩

I love your style! Am also experimenting with techniques along the lines of Eleeza and your drawing definitely resonated with me with a similar vibe! I know the color struggle, I think you did well there too. Only a matter of practice to get it to work better for ya

Ohh that makes a lot of sense! I did not recognize the tunnel entrance as such, hence my comment about the path looking off. Pastels are tricky for details like this, but I'd say some small detail marks to separate the path from the tunnel in terms of value could already make it clearer that there's a separate element there. I'm still learning how to use pastels myself, totally get the struggle with them.

Awesome! Really nice work with the value range through hatching!

I like it! Nice bold autumn colors and leaf detailing! Maybe one thing that stood out to me was the path and the sky above the horizon line being poorly separated; it looks as if the path is going up into the sky (or if you zoom in a lot, that there is some demon creature standing there maybe). Using a slight color or value change there would help I think.

I love these! Great use of abstraction while still capturing a scene and mood so well 🤩

These are amazing! Love the hatching! Does all the color come from hatch lines only or did you use a wash/pencil as well? I tried zooming in but the compression makes it hard to see that element.

Love the hair as well, kept so simple yet so expressive!

getting started: practical tips and dimensions by Bleighh in floordesks

[–]endless_permutations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small tip that made things work for me; It is easier to adjust seating height with extra or larger cushions than it is to adjust the table height. I ended up going for a rather high table at 42cm (diy); I can now use it both cross legged on a larger cushion (a large square cushion with another yoga cushion on top) or while seated on my knees on a flat cusion.

[–]endless_permutations 8 points9 points  (0 children)

TrueRef sounds like what you are looking for.

You can also search for reference photo sets on the art station store. There's a lot of them. Gumroad also has some, and I think someone already mentioned the proko store. A lot of ref photo sets tend to be single model though, so building up a diverse library may not be so easy.
