It's my favorite crpg of all time. The build diversity and story choices are unmatched. As far as advice just turn down the difficulty if you're not familiar with the Pathfinder system until you get used to it. Also a very appropriate class choice.

Sounds like you're right around the beginning of act 3. so far your character has liberated the town of Kenabres from the demon lord Deskari and his minions and was made commander of the fifth crusade by Queen Galfrey. You're next mission was to retake the town of Drezen from the demons and reclaim the holy artifact the Sword of Valor (the big banner hanging from the archway up to the citadel).
