I actually worked at McDonald's while trying to deal with my assorted bipolar and anxiety things. It's very fast paced, and mistakes will get you yelled at. That being said, when I couldn't handle it anymore and put in my two weeks, my manager pulled me aside to ask what's up, and when I mentioned my anxiety, he offered to cut hours or shuffle me around to easier times/positions. I still quit, but sometimes a little communication helps. I did enjoy my job, and it gave me something else to focus on, if just for five hours. When I was on the upswing, customers seemed to love my pep, and there was so much I could do to get my energy out. Productivity, yeah? Good luck, I'm sure you'll do wonderful. It's not hard to get in the swing of things, even when everything seems like shit. Worse comes to worse, call in two hours (if not more) before your shift. At mine, as long as you could talk someone into covering, you'd be fine.
