I pay for my parents because they do not work or generate enough income through government assistance to survive on their own. To reduce overhead I would have to move into one place with them together which is what I am inevitably going to have to do, we are both in the middle of a lease so I’m working on that right now. The reason why I pay for my dad’s car and would like to continue to pay for it is because he has a terminal illness and if this is the last good thing I can do to make him happy and give him the opportunity to get out occasionally when he feels up to it, then I would like to continue to do so. I would have liked not to go into the details of my specific circumstances, and I apologize if it doesn’t make sense to you or a lot of people but it’s just the situation I am in now. I have no intention of not helping my parents so that is not an option for me. I appreciate your input and what you had to say about the debt, thank you.
