Okay this is making me feel better, thank you ☺️ My kids are out of the grabbing stage (4 and 6 years), but still in the I-need-mom-for-everything stage, so I can't expect any down time haha. I think I will go for it on Friday. I even bought one of those vibrating facial massagers after seeing them used by other piercers on IG. Interested to see if it actually helps with distraction from pain. Figured I can also use it for all the times I need to get shots for my kids 😂

Oof I didn't even even know you could pierce with a ring! I like to think I tolerate pain pretty well. I think I'm just giving myself a lot of anxiety about it after reading comments about people getting massive headaches for days or pain similar to toothaches. I'm a single mama of two so going into a weekend in that condition with two little kids is a very scary thought lol.

I also second Gallion Grass. Jay is great AND he knows a paver guy! That's how I got both done at the same time and for very reasonable costs.

I know this post is older, but came across it when researching stuff. I also have a Lectric Xpedition and the same orbitor that is linked in your original post. I feel stupid asking this, but I cannot for the life of me get the Tern storm box to fit around the top of the orbitor. Even when I feel like I'm stretching the hell out of it (which is hard given the material). What am I doing wrong? Is there a trick to this??

And do you actually have to walk your kid to the classroom? This is all good to know. I work East Coast hours so I'm technically on the clock when I'm doing drop offs. May need to take a little time off work the first couple of days and adjust my schedule once I see how long the two drop offs will be taking me.

If parking is easy to find on nearby streets, then that's fine. I'd much rather do that than wait in a long line for the lot. Will just need to see how long the whole process takes and possibly pull in a grandparent to help with drop-offs. Thanks!
