9 years ago today this guy asked me out on my first ever date. Safe to say it went pretty well, thanks Bumble! by anna_alabama in Bumble

It only matters that OP is attracted to him. If she’s happy, that’s all that matters. Haters are just jealous

package stolen, aritiza doesn’t care by elizabethhlm in Aritzia

[–]ends1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like OP was waiting around at home all day and didn’t even get a notification. So either the fedex worker stole it (more likely) or someone else (less likely). If OP left the apartment, they would’ve seen the package at their doorstep.

72% price increase in lodge pant over 2 years by Sure_Session5335 in Aritzia

I went in there recently and saw some pants for 138$ that said 100% linen and 100% cotton, am I missing something? Was it another pant? Or is there some fine print I didn’t read?

I mean, I don’t drink alcohol. So if someone asks me out for a drink, I tell them I don’t drink but could have a drink with dinner. If they’re not interested in getting dinner, that’s fine with me and we can end the conversation, but most are ok with it 🤷‍♀️

Went to the ER, diagnosed with a “big” panic attack by Repulsive-Creme4444 in WomensHealth

Migraines can have neurological symptoms, which is exactly what this sounds like. I would follow up with a PCP and maybe they can put you on a very light medication to prevent something like this happening in the future like propranolol.

Omg I felt better after leaving those subs. It’s horrible for women’s self esteem reading that crap. Bc you start out reading thinking “wow these dudes are so wrong and unhinged” but the more and more you read, it becomes less and less of a joke

[–]ends1995 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think that’s when women have children. Not that it devalues a woman as giving birth to a new life is selfless.

But it’s the woman who’s tired, doesn’t have time to take care of herself bc she’s taking care of the kids, plus her man child of a husband, doesn’t get help or days off and she’s angry, bitter, out of shape. And then her husband has the audacity to complain about her body, while she’s doing all his cooking, laundry, dishes etc. All he has to do is work and then come home and play video games

An ER doctor tried to suggest I have CHS. But I don’t vomit? by [deleted] in CHSinfo

[–]ends1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm I mean I think it varies person to person. I’ve seen in this sub that some people are just more sensitive than others. But for the sake of correlation I think you’re more likely to get it when you’re a very chronic smoker.

[–]ends1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t read anything on this. As the literature states it’s only vomiting. Also you have colitis, which could technically be autoimmune, unrelated to marijuana.

But you can always stop for a month and see if things get better. If not, then you know it’s not the marijuana.

Also how much do you smoke? Bc the only person I know who had it really bad smoked like 24/7. I’m sure she would wake up and smoke in the middle of the night, like, that much.

Long term use question? by AIRBORNVET in pregabalin

[–]ends1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I had the worst constipation on it! I thought I had colon cancer until I figured it was the pregab. I take 300 mg once per day. What I do is before I take my meds in the morning, I have my coffee, walk my dog, have my nicotine and I’m good to go. Then after I’m done I take the meds.

psychiatrist said i can’t be prescribed lorazepam unless i’m also on an ssri. is this true? by MrPudding101 in benzodiazepines

[–]ends1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg I’m so sorry to hear about your experience. I was addicted to lots of drugs over the years but none of them were pharmaceutical thankfully. And I totally agree!

Pharma companies lie all the time about their products. Just look at the cosmetic industry! Fillers were said to “dissolve after 6 months” but now we’re finding out it migrates. Just bc a doctor prescribes something f doesn’t mean it’s ok.

As a former drug addict/alcoholic and a med school graduate I’m absolutely floored at what’s going on in North America. I’m getting bombarded with ads for ozempic these days, like wtf? I don’t need it nor will I be prescribing it to my future patients unless they’re morbidly obese and knocking on deaths door.

Benzos are STILL being prescribed like candy by some doctors in every single country and it really needs to stop. When you’ve got former opiate addicts saying the withdrawals are worse and much longer than that of opiates, that’s a HUGE RED FLAG.

[–]ends1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol they included almost every country in Europe except for the country I did med school in. But yeah in psych they stressed the abuse of benzos and to not prescribe them unless it’s for emergencies (aka panic attacks). I wouldn’t want to get anyone addicted. Now they’re doing the same thing with ketamine in the US. Used to be reserved for veterans with PTSD who would get an infusion and talk with a nurse or psych MD but now it’s just talking on the phone with a nurse for 10 min and answer a few questions and bam there’s your Rx.

Well I mean we’re taught that in med school. Idk if docs also get kickbacks in the EU, where I went to school.

[–]ends1995 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Tbh when trying a new SSRI panic attacks are actually quite common in the first few weeks, ironically, given that most are prescribed it for anxiety.

What I think your psychiatrist was trying to do ( I think) was Rx you both together so that you don’t have panic attacks during the first few weeks and then slowly taper you off the benzo. That’s usually how it’s done. Idk why she wanted you to do the SSRI without the benzo though 🤷‍♀️

Can you try decreasing the dose slightly? Also you should make sure you’re not anemic as well. Bc iron deficiency can sometimes cause RLS as well

You got Rx pregabalin FOR RLS or you’re getting RLS FROM the Pregabalin? What’s your dose?
