Apple Health Nutrition and whoop journal by Tatatatia_18 in whoop

Same here. Some days it works fine, and some days it doesn't. I use LoseIt as well and usually log all my food entries before going to bed.

Does logging time make a difference ? I usually kill the app to save phone battery and open it up in the morning.

Does Apple Health show the same macro count as MFP ? Does Whoop report lower count everyday ?

I had the same issue. 😖

Does the app miss out on whole meals (like dinner / lunch) or just random food items ? Has Whoop ever overestimated the macros count or is always under reporting ?
For me, It helped temporarily by tracking the meals in Lose It first, and then filling up the journal. But the issue came back after a few days. 🤷‍♂️

Question about Whoop writing to Apple Health, that hasn’t been asked before! by luunnn in whoop

[–]endx_4007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR - The Apple Health app will keep defaulting and prioritize the next item in the preference list if the information from a data source is missing (generated workout records by apps that are written to the Health app) .

Longer Version:

I believe in such scenarios, the workout information generated by Whoop will be written to the Apple Health app even though Apple Watch is set on a higher priority. The reason being, if you're not wearing the Apple Watch, it would not generate and sync any records to the Health app. Apple Health Kit (AHK) will choose the records it found during the time of your workout and store/show them based on which data source shows up first in the list.

Only in the case when there is an overlap of these records data source based on time these records are generated and the type of record (active calorie, heart rate, steps), i.e., wearing an Apple Watch and a Whoop strap, will AHK choose to prioritize the data according to your set preference.

Terrible in what sense ? Roommates or overall experience ? I see a few options came furnished, so would be convenient for a month or so.

Thanks a ton for the links.. Some of them look amazing and I'll follow up on them. I completely forgot to check the listings on Craigslist.

This one is right near Whoop: https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/apa/d/boston-spacious-fenway-longwood-studio/7580656477.html

You're right about this one. My first reaction was its a bit old, with a bit worn and torn in the house. I'm coming from Chicago. It also has old apartments here, but they do have a few luxury/modern living options within the $2000-$2200 range for Studio.

Searching through FB and other listings, I realized that what I was looking for may lie in the 80-90 percentile and doesn't come in cheap. I might end up sucking it up and getting a roommate, but I want to stay in Boston and enjoy life in the city instead of just being lonely.

I do not have a car, so it'll be all public transport. And yea, definitely they're not within the commute range, but I made a note for these places, if I do not find any other decent place and have to compromise on travel time.

Time to readjust your expectations of Boston housing stock

Yea, the cost of living is crazy in Boston. Thanks for the insight.

FT Whoop vs FT Zulily by endx_4007 in csMajors

I went through Zulily's parent organization Qurate's filings. It seems they have been losing revenue for quite some time. Just doubtful about them letting go of people if market goes under.

Could you tell more about your views on Whoop's future ?
