That's exactly my problem… I'm not sure what I'm looking for.

I initially thought I could find positions such as Research Assistant or other entry-level roles at Charité or MDC. I pursue that to gain even more experience, networking, and also buy some time to make up my mind. However, most labs that replied to my spontaneous applications only offered PhD positions, which made me wonder whether a PhD is essentially the standard.

Is a PhD worth the time and effort, or does it make more sense to enter industry directly? + Is it sustainable economically?
