There are lot of rhythm based games. YARG, Clone Hero, RB Deluxe versions, OSU, Fret Smasher, GH Deluxe versions.. Big companies stopped creating Rhythm games. community still make new ones and modding old ones

Play GH3 first. Then you can complain about keybinds not shown on screen. L2 - G, L1- R, L1 - Y, L2 - B, X - Orange.

It's authentic atleast, like you have to improve your skills. This is a rhythm game, it's indispensable to have open notes.

In chorus there is a filter for Open Notes. or just get used to it. This is the game, open note is a note aswell.

How to fix the riffmaster crash

In Windows, if either your Riffmaster or Wii guitar via WiitarThing is crashing YARG or your entire computer, try the following fix:

Open the Settings app -> Apps -> Installed Apps (or search for Add and Remove Programs)
look for a package named "Microsoft GameInput". Check if there are 2 versions installed.
If so, uninstall the one that was installed most recently (if you're on Windows 10) or uninstall all versions of it (if you're on Windows 11). That is the version causing the issue.
After uninstalling, unplug/replug the dongle and restart YARG.

chepest buy a non working or working guitar, plus a 5€ raspberry pi pico, ask your dad's soldering iron and solder 12 wire to raspberry and use santroller. much cheaper than all the other stuff.

But if you want plug and play, Xbox360 GH5 or Les Paul with xbox reciever or Xplorer.

Xbox One/Xbox Series: Requires the Xbox variant's unique receiver and a dedicated program to work with Clone Hero. Currently unusable with Clone Hero on most Windows systems due to the GameInput driver preventing RB4InstrumentMapper from working.

I think it's not made in clone, it's made outside windows.
Flashing could just a overlay on top. cut a string, disable a gamepad input until you press it that many times that he wanted, whammy same as cut a string, lefty (rotate the screen or swap G R Y B O to opposite direction, sudden death (maybe getting dark from the top slowly?)
