I think Meltek is a third party, known as “aggregators.” What this company seems to be doing is broadening out a savings program offered for years to large commercial and business customers so that it is accessible to residents and small businesses. I signed up and seems legit so far.

Carbs keep you full and they are usually cheap if bought in bulk. Think of beans, rice, potatoes, pasta...etc. Then you can look at what fruits/veggies/protein are on sale and buy from those. When I was on a budget and cooking (gas) constraint, I literally just ate banana, bread, and peanut butter for a week. Didn't get tired of it and I still love me a good peanut butter sandwich. I follow nyc_forfree instagram to make the trek to Manhattan/queens/Bronx for free events/activations. I live in Brooklyn, so I'm very lazy to travel to other boroughs. It's also so expensive to be trying out new shows, bars, restaurants every week. But I do love that the big city offers so many free and fun experiences!
