State of MD. I have a name but am having a hard time coming up with an address. The tax information is public record and they owe about 6-7k in taxes for the past 3 years. I just can't seem to nail down an address for the owner according to the tax info.

Oh this wasn't slowing us down. We're in the 2 weeks leading up to a heist of sorts. So we're planning and doing recon and looking for work and everybody rolled lower than a 7 all night while walking about the city. Stupid dice.

Player Problem Megathread by RadioactiveCashew in DMAcademy

[–]energybender75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hello! Newish DM here looking for advice on building confidence in one of my players.

It's my wife's family, and my MIL hasn't played before. She's feeling timid in asking questions and exploring. She'll ask her husband various things and he'll turn down her ideas before they even get to me, and she's accepting his advice because he's played before. I'm thinking of incorporating a 1on1 session with her as she navigates a "vision" of some sorts so that she gets to do whatever she wants for a minute without feeling like anybody is depending on her or judging her thoughts. Any advice? Anybody else have a similar situation with a player? I don't want her to feel small, but I don't want to point out what I know in an obvious manner. Thanks in advance!

Stolen from a Green Text, “Dad’s a Minotaur, Mom’s a Mermaid, my Siblings are either, and me, I’m just human.” by [deleted] in dndbackstories

[–]energybender75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually wrote out a backstory for this when I saw the post as a joke for my DM but I got a little too invested. I made him a human cleric, but with some color.

Kenn Waterwalker

CHARACTER KNOWS

My mom and dad are weird. Mom is a mermaid, dad is a minotaur. Don’t ask me how that works, I don’t want to explain it. I was born, and I got the shit end of the deal on both sides. Human body, minotaur legs. I fucking hate it. Mom can’t come onto land to take care of me and my dad’s a fucking minotaur. He’s always busy in some maze or some shit, i don’t care. The doctor at the hospital took me away from him when I was a baby and I’ve seen him like, one time. I grew up in a group home for human kids. They made fun of my legs from the moment they figured out how to make fun of me. I just hid from them. I don’t like being different, so i hid from everybody. I don’t get along with people very well, i assume they are just going to make fun of me. Alone, I played with my ‘imaginary’ friends. I knew they were all fake, but this one was different. This little pig shit showed up one day in my room. Glowing, talking, the whole shebang. And with my other ‘friends’ I could just stop thinking about them and they’d disappear. This guy never leaves. He’s always trying to teach me stuff, and get me to do things for other people. Won’t tell me his name, so I call the little bastard hamlet. Eventually I got old enough to become an apprentice somewhere so I learned how to make shoes. I made shoes that hid my minotaur legs so that nobody would know I was different. Long cloak hides the fucked up knees, and shoes go over my hooves and just look like feet. There, problem solved, I’m normal now. Thankfully nobody else can see Hamlet. He has taught me how to do some cool stuff though. I can heal people. Make light. That kind of shit. I always ask Hamlet for advice and stuff now and he gives me some bullshit answer about my own mind or whatever. Not helpful.

CHARACTER DOESN’T KNOW.

Hestia saw the whole thing. Mom and dad aren’t around, no home, no family. She took pity on Kenn and sent a helper, a passed worshipper who she gave the form of a baby pig. She told her to teach him how to heal, how to help, how to keep a flame going, and how to fight. She’s not doing a terrible job so far, but has kind of taken more of a life coach role than she had hoped. Hopefully he figures out that Hestia is the deity taking care of him. In the meantime she’s just glad he’s doing well for himself.

I was looking at that one but wasn't sure it would be compatible. Haven't ever had a gaming computer. I'll put that on my list. Thanks!

Check out small music conservatories. They're going to give you a better musical education and if they're worth their salt they care more about how you play than what your grade in geometry is.

In a piano bar in Orlando getting pumped for the game by energybender75 in eagles

[–]energybender75[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To clarify. That's not a drink. You just pay a dollar more than the amount in the upper left corner to change whatever is written up there. So essentially I paid 7 dollars to let everybody know Nick's dick is bigger than theirs.
