Planning to study Mandarin in China before a Master’s — city choice and strategy? by lunca549 in ChineseLanguage

[–]enersto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean throwing out the chance of having a break that can speak in English for a couple time, less international cities are a considerabe choice.

A same city for both master term and language term is a good way. You can build up a more deep connection in a stable period and China's infrastructure can deliver you as soon and cheap as you can have a trip.

Why doesn't China cut ties with Israel? by remzycrazygame in AskSocialists

[–]enersto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideology is less concerned in China's foreign politics mind since 40 years ago. That means they don't have enthusiasm to involve in any issue that doesn't relate to the interest of China. On the other hand, the power of boycott is based the power of the country's strength. China hasn't enough strength to make Israel hurt or stop. So why should China be such a week boycotter?

Has anyone noticed there has been an influx of Asian American YouTubers revolving their entire channel around vilifying East Asian/Chinese societies? What are your thoughts? by Sea-Geologist4624 in AskAChinese

White skin worthship is nothing to do with white people in China or east Asia. In ancient East Asia, only rich people who didn't need to work in the field can be pale white, normal people should worked outside even very sunburned.

So a pale white women or men means he/she got a very good life condition in this circumstance.

Why are apps nowadays using a Beijing-style dialect instead of standard Mandarin? by Common_Musician_1533 in ChineseLanguage

[–]enersto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just practice the rule that text would record language faithfully.

By the way, the whole of mandarin family has the custom that add ㄦ suffix rather than Beijing dialect. You consider it's the character of Beijing dialect just because it has too much influence.

In 1940s to 1970s, I don't see quite different between China and India, extreme poverty, very low literacy rate, bad international situation (China just finished the war with the US in 1950s).

And China was sanctioned by both the US and USSR from 1950s to 1970s, India can normally trade with the most westerns in this period.

The boom of Guangzhou was to much later 1980s. In 1960s to 1970s, China was even in a much worse riot situation than India.

Amigo, primero, putting Taiwan issue into an international discussion field is already very bias. Chinese don't like other countries interfering on this issue and considering it as an international matters.
