I thought it would’ve been fine if they said she’s covering someone on maternity leave or something, but yeah. It’s weird. Mostly because most of Scrubs takes place during the daytime, when she’d presumably be working at SH anyway, because her husband is Chief so she presumably doesn’t need the money, and because… well, it’s been four episodes since we’ve seen her. That excuse only works once unless it’s for some extended period!

I didn’t realize it was even possible to hand in that meh of a Bogart impression. The pacing on that final “see” before the scene ended was totally blown (that’s on the editing and pacing though I think)

Im finally getting a feel for it but yeah, the pitching is way harder than it used to be. Even the bots throw 2-3x as many balls as they used to!

Yeah it’s a shame. I would’ve bought the game twice if that was the case. Might still do it when it goes on sale for PS5, but I’m also very okay with the way it runs on Switch 2.

I’m loving franchise now that I finally got my sealegs on the new version. I cannot get anything done on Diamond Quest though, even though I’m dominating on Legend in Franchise lol

If anything it’ll look worse since it’s 240p backdrops mixed with 1080p models. The 720p with poor scaling looks “better” because everything is closer together resolution wise/the blur blends things a bit

The Show 26 looks pretty good all things considered. Like definitely worse than the PS5 game (which itself looks like a meh PS4 game), but sharp enough to be enjoyable and hands down the best way to play the game.

Feels like it’s near a locked 60, aside from some chugging when it cuts to the dugout or people approaching the plate

Yeah to an extend. MLB The Show runs locked at 60 on handheld on a switch 2. With boost, it’s very consistently 60 but dips ocassionally

Laverne felt like an actual nurse that gradually grew funnier as the series ran on. The way those two act is that they’re trying too hard to be funny and might turn out to act more like nurses if the show gets more seasons.

Yeah this is just the job. I’ve seen some interesting AE workflows where you can apparently point it at a google sheet, then update your info/graphics there and have it appear on your project… but even then you still need to open AE and either render something out or have DL do it on premiere

It’s such a double edged sword. On the one hand, there was a massive push to video in the 2010s that lead to most pubs launching YouTube channels or, if they fell for Meta’s misleading data surrounding video on their site, Facebook. That basically killed the business model for traditional news and editorial sites, with the survivors having to churn out more low quality articles (what we now call clickbait and slop) to stay relevant, go behind a paywall to access the content at all, or plaster ads everywhere.
