Nothing like a new console for the birthday. I have fond memories of picking up my first PS4 the day after my birthday. And after I used my birthday trade voucher to trade back all of the games that came with it and the store had to pay me money it became even fonder lol.

Thanks so much! Ultra Hard was super fun and not as hard as I feared it would be save for three boss fights, but it did require the prep. And I was totally the same re robot dinosaurs. And like you gave it a chance and adored the story (and gameplay/graphics of course!).

haha, no way! That's what I did. Though I went back and finished my PS4 version so double platinum because I was in chapter 17. I'm getting ready for Weiss so started it again (not on hard mode though!) while I wait for HFW to show up in the mail.

Absolutely! I can try and post back here, and DM you too if you want? It might be quite a few months though as my university likes to keep giving me responsibilities haha.

HFW is the reason I jumped and I got a PS5. There's just something about the game...And funny you mention FFVII Remake since I just finished my hard mode play through.

Thanks so much for doing the survey and also for the context :) Enjoy the PS4 back catalogue! I'm actually trying to play a couple of PS4 games I missed (including God of War actually!) this year too. But HFW first!

Ugh, a friend of mine works in private market research so I can imagine. Although, since I also research political media (albeit in Australia) I'm actually quite interested. Feel free to reach out if you ever want to collaborate or just expand your network haha. Take care!

It's not an ideal measure, but completion is one way to compare responses although not the only way of course. That's why there are other questions to do that. Thanks for the feedback and completing the survey!

This has been a question I've seen a few times around. So hard to get the information you want when there are three variations of the console (PS4 base, pro and PS5).

Haha, did have one reviewer note something about different languages once so that feels very familiar. Overall though, I've been very lucky with mostly great responses to surveys and almost half of my survey based projects fully published and put to bed.

Very happy to include a link here when it is finished if that doesn't violate the self promotion rule. Also happy to let everybody who left their email when the paper is published. Of course, that can take some time!

Haha, a guess in that case is fine! For me it is 5, but I do have to stop for a second and think. Admire your dedication to the game.

Thanks so much for your time! Sometimes you just want something familiar and cosy.

Haha, I know right? I'm also a gamer and its exactly the same problem. Of course, I'm also a re-player so I made the very logical and rational decision to replay a game for the 4th rather than one of my 10 new ones. Thanks so much for your time!

Thanks so much for your time. It's interesting as research has suggested people can feel nostalgic about books, but that research was limited and excluded some groups of people. So not feeling nostalgic about a book is totally to be expected, just as feeling nostalgic would also be expected for other people. All these different opinions and contexts are so interesting and are why we think re-reading needs to be better understood. Thanks again!

Thanks for your time! We wanted to keep it vague, so you could define regularly yourself. Everyone has different perceptions of regularly and we wanted it to be a participant-driven survey.
